Well folks, it’s official. We received our Articles of Incorporation back from Tallahassee on Friday so Milestone Marketing Associates, Inc. is open for business!

Other news to report from last week includes a successful review of the business plan, we proofed our identity suite and should have everything back from the printer this week, and we reviewed our website design. If you go to www.milestone-marketing.com you will now see our company logo. The rest of the design looks great and our content is nearly complete. We plan to go live on October 15^th.

Additionally Milestone Marketing Associates is now a proud member of The Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce, the Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance, and 82 Degrees Tech. We’re looking forward to getting involved in the local business community and expanding our networking relationships.

Speaking of networking, all of our initial prospective clients continue to come from referrals. This week I would like to recognize all of my friends at the Siesta Key Kiwanis Club. Despite the fact that I have not been pushing a bunch of information about the business out to the club, everyone has been supportive. Now that we’re open for business, I have added all my fellow Kiwanians to this weekly update. If your business needs help with marketing, or if you can think of anyone else who is looking for help with their marketing, please don’t hesitate to mention Milestone!

In case you’re wondering what to tell people, here is our positioning statement:

Our team has more than 100 years of combined marketing experience and over 50 years in software marketing. Of course being a start-up operation we’re happy to help any type of business, but what makes us unique is our focus on small software companies nationwide.
