Quarterly Planning
Last week Milestone Marketing Associates held its first official quarterly planning meeting. Since the organization operates as a virtual company this face-to-face meeting allows the group to interact and reconnect as a team. Thanks again to everyone who made time to attend.
During the meeting we reviewed our progress to date including the corporate identity suite project and company website project. We discussed upcoming projects including our Grand Opening Celebration planned for New Year’s Eve and a preshow promotion for the World of Concrete show in February.
We also took the time to review each and every prospective client. Currently we have 16 qualified leads in the pipeline and we’re adding more each week. These opportunities range from comp and trade work to real potential revenue. We’re excited to make the transition from internal projects to working on behalf of our clients.
In other news from last week we continued to make an impact on the local business community. The Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance event at Keiser College was very well attended and yielded some great new contacts, including Jim Althouse from Infinity Business Systems. Jim invited me to attend a meeting with his Sarasota Networking Group which may prove to be another valuable resource.
At another local business networking opportunity, the Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce’s First Monday event which was located at New York New York, was not as well attended but also yielded great results. Not only was I able to connect with what are becoming familiar faces on the networking circuit, I was lucky enough to win the grand door prize which was two tickets to the Bucs game!
Of course everyone was referring to it as a Packers game since absolutely no one thought our team had a chance. It was a beautiful day in Tampa and the Bucs came through with their first win of the season!
