Growing list of paying customers
Milestone Marketing Associates added two more clients to our growing list of paying customers last week. In addition to our progress on the sales front, we advanced multiple projects for three clients, three non-profits, and three internal jobs.
Not bad for a three-day week. I saw Eric Clapton in Fort Lauderdale on Thursday night and spent the weekend in Key West with my brother-in-law for a man-cation.
What a fantastic trip! Roger Daltrey opened for Clapton. We had floor seats. It was a great show. And Key West during spring break should have provided enough amusement all by itself. Mix in what is apparently a week-long celebration of Saint Patrick’s Day, and we saw an intoxicating mixture of green beads and bikini’s.
Now that I’m back to reality I wish I could say I feel rested, that my batteries are recharged, and I’m ready to start the new week. However, after the 28-mile Jet Ski tour around the island on Saturday afternoon, followed by waking up on Sunday morning to the time change before enduring the 7-hour drive home, I feel like I was hit by a bus.
Fortunately the aches and pains will subside in a couple of days. And that’s a good thing because we have our work cut out for us. The weather is heating up and so is this business. I think the winter was longer and colder than any other in the past 20 years. I have a feeling that we’re in for a long, hot summer in 2010. Get ready…
Until next week,
Matthew Anderson, President
