As we approach the six-month mark for this new business, I am reluctant to make any bold predictions for the future of Milestone Marketing Associates. However, based on our results to date, I think it’s pretty safe to say that we’ll be around for at least another six months.

We’re not setting any growth records, but sales are heading in the right direction. And like any service business, the real work begins after the sale. Just like we did six months ago for Milestone, we’re doing market research, designing company logos, writing press releases, creating product brochures, and building websites for our clients.

We recently completed graphic design projects for two local organizations. The first project was a flyer for the Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance golf tournament coming up on Friday, April 30th at the Ritz-Carlton Members Golf Club. The second project was for the Siesta Key Kiwanis Club. We designed the flyer and invitation for the club’s annual fundraiser on Saturday, May 22nd at the Sarasota Yacht Club. That project just went to the printer on Friday, but you can learn more about it online at www.siestakeykiwanis.org.

If anyone would like more information about these events or would like to support either organization, please let me know. Proceeds from the golf tournament will support the Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance. The Kiwanis event will raise funds for local youth programs and the Wellness Community.

Another organization that Milestone Marketing Associates is happy to support is BarCamp Sarasota. This newly formed group of local professionals with a passion for technology and a focus on education has a different feel from other business organizations and service clubs. One of those things that you have to experience to understand, BarCamp Sarasota is hosting a free event April 17-18 at the Suncoast Polytechnical High School.
