Busy week, busy weekend
Another busy week followed by another busy weekend. Current projects are moving forward, and new work keeps coming. I dare say it’s starting to look like a trend.
The two fundraising events that we plugged last week and the week before are both going well:
The Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance golf tournament, Puttin’ on the Ritz, is nearly sold out, but we still have room for more sponsors. Let me know if you would like to expose your business to this growing market.
The Siesta Key Kiwanis Club annual fundraiser, Tropical Nights Goes Hollywood, is off to a great start. This event is about halfway sold out, and we still need plenty of donations for the silent auction. Do what you can to help kids in our community.
In other business-related news, the Sarasota Herald Tribune picked up our press release last week about SouthTech Solutions. We’ve been working with SouthTech since the beginning of the year, and we are truly grateful for their support and confidence in our ability to help them grow their businesses.
Another technology-related business came on board last week. Does anyone remember reading about my trip to Las Vegas? I attended the World of Concrete show back in February. That was the trip that started out like a nightmare, but it ended up being worthwhile. One of the leads from that trip just closed.
GTCO CalComp makes digitizer boards, or measuring tools, that come in different sizes. GTCO was the primary hardware supplier for our construction estimating software business. As such we developed a strong relationship over the years.
When I was out in Vegas, I reconnected with GTCO and learned that they needed some help with marketing. Now we’re updating their website and quoting more work on their product brochures. I’d like to send a shout out to Kim and Sonel. Thanks for the business, and welcome to the weekly update.
Until next week,
Matthew Anderson, President
Milestone Marketing Associates, Inc.
