Thank you to everyone who provided feedback on the new website. Aside from a couple of old browser compatibility issues, everyone seemed to like the changes that we made, and we received many compliments on the video. We even had a couple of clients ask about incorporating videos into their own marketing efforts.

Online videos are a great way to demonstrate your products, train your customers, sell your services, and promote your company. But like any marketing project, if it’s not done well, it could do more harm than good. If you’re not comfortable writing a script or securing talent, if you’ve never prepared a shot list or handled a camera, if you don’t know the first thing about editing software, then hire a professional.

Getting it done right doesn’t have to cost a fortune, but it does take time. Between planning meetings and production time we spent 40 hours over 90 days working on our one-minute video. While we were able to keep our costs to a minimum it was a significant investment of time and effort.
