Talk about being in the zone
Talk about being in the zone. We kicked ass at East Meets West! Vicki and I were busy talking to people for three hours nonstop at the Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance event that attracted 700 attendees. It was an impressive turnout, and I’m so pleased we decided to exhibit.
We set a goal of 20 leads and 2 clients for the show. We ended up with 30 new contacts of which 10 are what I would consider real leads at least 5 are warm leads. Follow up has produced two appointments so far and things are looking good.
I’m writing this week’s update on Friday evening as we’re heading into Labor Day weekend. Tomorrow morning I’m going to Gainesville for the Gator’s season opener. I’m sure it’ll be a rout as usual but tailgating in the swamp is always a good time, and I’m looking forward to hanging out with the Millers.
On Sunday we’re playing in the 5th Annual John McClain Jr. Memorial Golf Tournament which raises money for my friend Brandon Miller’s sister, Holly and her children. They live in Colorado now but Holly and John met at school in Gainesville. Every year the families and their friends come together for this tournament. I really enjoyed supporting the cause last year for the first time, and I’m excited to see everyone again this year.
On Monday I’m back in time for family fun at the beach. If you get this email Monday morning, come out to the condo for some fun!
Until next week,
