Happy Fathers Day
Catherine starts summer camp with the Girl Scouts today. She enjoyed last week at the Art Center. She came home with all sort of cool stuff.
She studied Greek art. Here’s a photo of some of her work. She gave me the red and blue mask and the turtle-shaped chopstick holder for Father’s Day:

Two weeks ago, when Mia realized it was Catherine’s last day of school and found out she still had to go to preschool, she was pissed. She got over it, and now that our summer vacation is just a few weeks away both girls are getting pretty excited.
We’ve never taken them to Disney World. They’re not quite foaming at the mouth yet, but they’re getting close. Dana’s sister Linda, her husband Bey, and baby Jack are going to meet us in Orlando. Disney World, Aunt Linnie, and Uncle Bey – it’s going to be pandemonium!
I have to admit, as much as I despise going to Orlando, even I’m starting to get excited. Of course it’s not going to be cheap spending four days in the Kingdom of the Rat, but since we’re not planning to go back before the kids graduate from college, we can splurge a little.
Until next week,
