Happy Labor Day

I was supposed to go to Gainesville this weekend for a golf tournament, but I’d been fighting a cold all week so I decided to stay home and rest. It was definitely the right call. Not only am I feeling better, but I was also able to catch up on a long list of chores. Three-day weekends are the best.

We have two big events coming up this week. First up is the third annual East Meets West trade show. Exhibitors from the Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance, Latin Chamber of Commerce, Longboat Key Chamber of Commerce, and Siesta Key Chamber of Commerce will fill the Municipal Auditorium on Wednesday evening from 5-8pm.

Milestone is exhibiting at East Meets West again this year, and we’re looking forward to a great turnout. Last year’s event attracted over 800 attendees and proved to be a great event.

The other big event will take place on Thursday evening from 5:30-8pm in the auditorium at Keiser University. You still have time to register for the Suncoast Technology Forum’s quarterly educational event.
