Second Anniversary
Milestone Marketing Associates officially celebrated its second anniversary on Saturday night. In honor of the occasion we had a dinner party at Fleming’s. There were eleven of us, six of seven associates and five significant others. We enjoyed wonderful company and a fantastic meal in one of their private dining rooms. It was a great party, and we’re looking forward to year three.
Dana and enjoyed another great party on Friday night for the Mighty Siesta Key Kiwanis Club’s 11th Annual Installation Banquet. Like Milestone, Kiwanis is another group that I am passionate about, and we too are looking forward to a year of growth.
Incoming president, Rosemarie Tamunday-Casanova, introduced a bold goal of increasing our membership by ten. To reach that objective I would like to extend an invitation to any of you who might be interested in learning more about our Kiwanis club to please join us
We meet for lunch every Wednesday at noon at Mattison’s 41. We sponsor the Pine View Key Club and the Sarasota Middle School Builders Club. We collect food for the All Faith’s Food Bank, support Mother’s Helping Mothers, and deliver Meals on Wheels. We pick up trash on Midnight Pass Road and Siesta Key Beach. We throw a party every year to raise money for local children’s programs including $50,000 for the expressive arts children’s studio at the new Cancer Support Center.

And if sunsets and cocktails are more your speed, don’t miss this month’s American Advertising Federation Suncoast social gathering on Thursday, October 6 from 5:30–7:30pm at O’Leary’s. As a matter of fact, you’ll find sunsets and/or cocktails at some of our Kiwanis functions too.
