Thank You

With Thanksgiving coming up this Thursday, we finally have a light week for work-related events. Instead we’re busy meeting with various clients in an attempt to keep multiple projects on track despite the holiday distractions.

Between all the family get-togethers, vacation get-a-ways, and holiday parties, this is always a challenging time of year for business. People have more important things on their minds.

Last week my wife and I celebrated an important financial milestone for the business. When I explained the significance what we were celebrating her comment was, “You’re baby is growing up.”

I know her comment was intended to be supportive, but I was caught off guard by the implication that I’m spending too much time nurturing my business and not enough time nurturing my children.

Everyone knows this is the time of year to be thankful. I’d like to start by thanking my wife. Thank you, Dana, for everything you do to support our family. Without your help, I would not be able to spend as much time growing this business.
