'Tis the Season
Between meeting their new cousins for the first time, attending the Kids Komedy Club at Florida Studio Theatre, and walking in a Christmas parade with the Siesta Key Kiwanis Club, my kids had a wonderful time celebrating Thanksgiving with our newly extended family this year. ‘Tis the Season for such things, and we’re looking forward to more joyous occasions with family and friends as we wind down 2013.
Here's our small, but mighty group of Kiwanians lined up
for the parade in the Siesta Key Village on Saturday night.
Coming up this week we have several holiday-themed events to attend:
Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce
First Monday at Crunch Fitness
Monday, December 2, 2013
This one is not so much holiday-themed as it is an appropriate venue considering last week’s Thanksgiving-binge. Network with fellow chamber members and find some inspiration to burn off your holiday calories.
Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance
Holiday Social at Courtyard Marriott
Wednesday, December 4, 2013
The Alliance always does the holidays in style. Don’t forget to wear your craziest holiday hat, sweater or tie for a chance to win great prizes.
Gulf Gate Elementary School
Family Movie Night
Friday, December 6, 2013
This should be a fun evening on the schoolyard for an outdoor presentation of the Polar Express. Sure to be a treat for this kids.
FCCI Holiday Party
Hyatt Regency Sarasota
Saturday, December 7, 2013
Last but not least, my wife and I will be attending the FCCI Holiday Party on Saturday night at the Hyatt in downtown Sarasota. Dana has worked for FCCI for more than seven years now and we have attended this party nearly every year. They usually go all out with an open bar, an excellent meal, and live entertainment for about 400+ employees and their spouses.
Until next week,
Matthew Anderson, President
Milestone Marketing Associates, Inc.
P.S. If you didn’t click on the link for the Kids Komedy Club, you should definitely check it out. Tickets and only $6 and they include lunch for the kids. Must-go entertainment for anyone with children…
Comments
By the way FCCI is not the Fellowship of Christian Companies International, correct.
I just finished my Devotional Book (in Spanish of course)and sent it to the Spanish FCCI in Texas.
Have a wonderful Christmas
