Selling Property
This week’s update is late because I’ve been working on a personal project. My wife and I are selling our rental property, and assuming everything goes well at our closing on Wednesday, we will no longer be landlords, and our tenants (who happen to be our brother and sister-in-law) will be homeowners!
It’s an exiting time for everyone involved, and it wouldn’t have been so painless without the help of several friends who I’d like to thank:
First of all, since this was a family transaction and we didn’t need to list the property, I asked my friend Tracy Seider for advice on selling the property. Not only did she run some comps for us to make sure our price was in the right range, she also gave me a list of referrals and tips on selling the property.
Tracy is a fabulous Realtor. In fact she helped us find and purchase our current home. If any of you need to buy or sell a home, I would highly recommend doing business with Tracy.
Secondly, I would like to acknowledge our real estate attorney, Robert Pretschner, and his assistant, Tana Heasley, from Tucker & Pretschner P.A. Like Tracy, I’ve known Bob for years through my Kiwanis Club, and this is the second time we’ve used his services for a real estate transaction. Bob is a consummate professional, and I am thoroughly grateful for his help and advice.
Once again, I can’t recommend these real estate professionals highly enough. If anyone would like his or her contact information, please don’t hesitate to ask.
Until next week,
