Open Door America
In June we posted some news about a client, a nonprofit organization based in Maryland called Open Door Baltimore. In July we shared the first round of logo designs we came up with to support their new name and plans to expand nationwide. In this week’s update you will see the final logo design that was selected and get a sneak peek at their new website.
As you may recall, the first round of logo designs focused on the icon, and the overwhelming majority of feedback favored the first option. In subsequent revisions we explored a variety of colors, fonts, and other design elements, but as you can see the final solution is a nod to their Baltimore roots where the organization’s headquarters will remain.

Their rebranding initiative is already producing the desired effect. In the months since we first engaged with the client they secured a new corporate sponsored who is helping them expand into Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Washington D.C, and New Orleans. They’re even working on a new chapter for Sarasota County!
Here’s a preview of their new website. Notice how their new identity was reflected in the design. Development has begun, new content is in the works, and we’re planning to launch in September…
