Unified Communications

This week’s update is a good-old-fashioned event announcement. The Suncoast Technology Forum is hosting its monthly Techbyte Luncheon on Tuesday, September 16 at the Polo Grill in Lakewood Ranch. We have three speakers from Arrow S3, a global multi-platform systems integrator and consulting firm with offices throughout the US, and the topic is unified communications and collaboration for your business.

According to Wikipedia, unified communications is the integration of real-time communications services with non-real-time communications services. In what we hope will not be a sales pitch, the presenters will share real-world examples of Microsoft Lync and Office 365 so you can learn how your team can effectively take advantage of unified communications and boost productivity.
