The Year of the Client
Jeffrey Hart, who is a regional sales manager for Comcast Business, is this year’s president of the Suncoast Technology Forum. When he took the reins he established his theme for 2015. Dubbed ‘The Year of the Member’ his plan is to grow the STF membership and deliver value to those members through engaging events on emerging technologies.
Thinking about this week’s blog and our progress in January, a similar theme may be appropriate for Milestone. We could call it ‘The Year of the Client’ because nearly all our new orders are coming from existing client relationships. Repeat business and referrals have become the special of the day. The question is will that be enough to grow.
Cautiously optimistic as always, I think it is. We have enough work in progress right now that we could use some help to get it all done in a timely manner, and we have several projects in the pipeline that would require an increase in production capacity to manage effectively.
Fortunately we have additional resources. So if 2015 is going to be The Year of the Client, then we will respond accordingly. Engage with more freelance help. Check. Another full-time associate ready-to-go. Check. Enough revenue to support the growth. We shall see…
