Super Tuesday

Last week I wrote about the power of volunteering. This week is your chance to hear me talk about traditional forms of volunteering while my co-presenter will discuss new ways of volunteering designed to engage the fast-growing Baby Boomer market and the emerging segment of busy 20-somethings looking for social change.

Super Tuesday Morning is a half-day event featuring several speakers and subjects that will fire-up your marketing efforts and help you grow your business. Sponsored by AdFed Suncoast and the Central West Coast Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association, the event is scheduled from 8:00am to 11:45am on Tuesday, May 19 in the Fete Ballroom at the Polo Bar and Grill.

As if this Tuesday weren’t already super enough, there is a lunchtime event taking place at the Polo Grill that you may also want to attend. From 11:30am to 1:00pm the Suncoast Technology Forum will host a Techbyte Luncheon titled, The State of the Cloud in Southwest Florida.

Featuring John Robinson who is the lead representative for HP Cloud in the Southeastern United States, this 18-year IT industry veteran will present an agnostic, industry-wide perspective on cloud adoption with an emphasis on emerging cloud technologies, best practices, and a focus on topics especially applicable to local businesses.
