Washington, DC

Sorry this week’s update didn’t go out on Monday morning. We arrived home late Sunday night after spending a long weekend in Washington, DC. Here are a few pictures from our trip.

Here is a nice shot of the Washington Monument.

And here are the ladies at the base of the monument. We didn't get to go up.

Here we are in front of the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History. Mia is holding the handy map provided by our hotel.

Here they are again in front of the White House. The police were clearing the street when we there their. Later we saw Marine One fly over along with two other helicopters, presumably delivering the President.

Here are the ladies underground waiting for the Metro. Notice that handy map again.
