Mother's Day

Every once in a while my wife will ask me what I’m writing about for my blog. Then she will jokingly suggest I write about how wonderful she is. She smiles. I laugh. And I go back to writing. I just happen to be writing this week’s update on Mother’s Day so I figured I would go ahead and write a post about Dana.

Dana Saxon Anderson is a special woman, and I’m lucky to be sharing my life with her. We met in high school, but we didn’t start dating until after college, and now we’re in our eighteenth year of marriage. Dana and I have two beautiful daughters. Catherine is 13 years old, and Mia is 9.

To celebrate Mother’s Day we went out for breakfast to a great crepe restaurant on Saint Armand’s Circle, and then we spent the afternoon at Selby Gardens.

Dana works for FCCI Insurance Group in Lakewood Ranch as a Senior AP Analyst in the Treasury Department. Dana also volunteers for Girl Scouts serving as Mia’s Troop Leader.

Sometimes it’s hard to believe Milestone has been open for business for nearly seven years. On several occasions I’ve written in this blog about how Dana’s support has played an instrumental role in allowing this company to exist. But it never hurts to say thanks again.

Thank you, Dana, for all you do to support our family and my business. And happy Mother’s Day too…
